Create codes
Codes can be created manually (e.g. codes for documents such as policies, procedure, working instruction) or pulled automatically by another system such as ERP (product codes, stock keeping units, bill of materials, batches/lots, serial numbers/codes, routings, purchase requisitions, sales orders, invoices, etc...).
The ways to organize roles in a codification system

for the overall codification process.
Three other departments are delegated to define root
codes, each for a different code design.
